A Little About Me
Hey there! I'm Henok, a software engineer who loves turning ideas into reality through code. Currently, I'm pursuing my Master's in Software Engineering at the University of Calgary, building upon my Computer Science background from the University of Lethbridge.
During the day, I work as an IT Analyst at Alberta Health Services, where I help create solutions that make a real difference in healthcare. When I'm not at AHS, you'll find me working on freelance web projects — it's my way of staying creative and learning new things.
I believe in keeping things simple and effective. Whether it's writing clean code or solving complex problems, I enjoy finding straightforward solutions that work well for everyone. I'm always excited to learn new technologies and collaborate with others who share the same passion.

A comprehensive movie ticket reservation system built with React and Spring Boot. Features include seat selection, ticket booking, and secure payment processing.
Mokonisa Coffee PLC
A welcoming website for an Ethiopian coffee export company, showcasing their premium coffee varieties and export services. Developed with care using React to create an engaging experience.
ANG Consultant PMS
I built this easy-to-use project dashboard for ANG Consultants that helps them keep track of everything in one place. It shows real-time updates, helps manage team members, and creates reports automatically. The clean design makes it simple for clients to stay in the loop and for managers to see how projects are doing at a glance.
